在1967年秋天發行的〈好個美妙世界〉(What a Wonderful World)，或譯為「多麼美好的世界」，其實一開始並沒有受到當時身處越戰紛爭的美國人注意，反而以其對日常生活的平凡喜悅風靡英國。然而由年近垂暮的路易斯‧阿姆斯壯 (Louis Armstrong，1901 - 1971)、以渾厚沙啞嗓音所詮釋的這首歌，終在1987年電影《早安越南》中，由羅賓‧威廉斯所主演戰地播音員，在紛亂的越南戰地播放這首歌來撫慰軍心，而重新引起美國人注意這首對未來充滿樂觀希望的歌曲。
