〈你有聽見人民的歌聲嗎？〉出自歌劇《悲慘世界》。描寫19世紀法國因許多社會矛盾而起的巴黎起義（或稱六月暴動）。以低沉輕聲的歌聲和逐漸加強音量的合唱，清楚傳遞了人民力量集結的意境。近年來這首歌常在反抗極權統治的公民運動場合中出現，有多種語言版本，比如2014年台灣的太陽花學運和香港的真普選運動。
